Tomorrow we are leaving for Texas. We're all really excited and we feel a lot like this dog and cat.




We're going to be leaving from Berkeley, CA in our van Daryl and MAPQUEST says that it will take twenty-five hours. That sucks so we're going to San Diego, CA first to play a show with Port O Brien and Delta Spirit and visit our old friend Kari Nye and MAYBE go to some wild mexican border town. Then we're going to unwind in the deserts of Arizona and New Mexico if we can find a place to stay but right now it's not looking good. Then we're going to go to Texas. In Texas we are going to play some shows at SOUTH BY SOUTH WEST and then we are going to come back home. But i'm at home right now in my kitchen.

hola amigos,

just got back from a fantastic trip to la. we played 2 shows with the kooks, and it was way fun. the first night was on thursday at the troubador, and the second on friday, at the echo. the kooks played awesome sets both nights, and to top it off, are some of the nicest guys ever. great crowds too, thanks to everyone for singing and dancing along. fun fun fun.

OH, we aren't going to be back in la for a bit, but we just found out we are doing a CD RELEASE show in la on may 8. that's right. we'll have copies of our first full length record, TALKING THROUGH TIN CANS. finally. how rad is that? the venue will be announced soon.

HEY!! How are you? I'm pretty good. Just got back from down south in bro-cal. It was an awesome trip. Pretty productive too. We filmed our first music video and played two badical shows!! The first show was in a little town called Pioneertown in the desert of Joshua tree. I guess it was origianally built as a set for old western movies. Everyone there was really awesome they even gave us free dinner and put us up in a motel room! The 2nd show was in LA at the Silverlake Lounge with We Barbarians!! They're an amazing band we'll be seeing them pretty soon when we play with them at Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa!!
