we're iTunes best of 2008!
for some crazy and awesome reason iTunes put us at the top of their best of 2008 feature! it's quite an honor. thanks guys/gals. in fact, while we're on the subject, thanks so much to EVERYONE for all the support you've given us over the year. it's been a great year (and a very special one, first album and all) !@#!@ we love you all!!

iTunes session released today! still tickets left for rickshaw SF show (last show of the year)!! tin cans available in the UK @ rough trade!

today is a glorious day!!!! not only is it 11/11 (coooooollll), but it also happens to be the day of our exclusive iTunes session release! that's right, brand new music that you can get right NOW. it has 5 songs - 1 brand new track, a cover of our favorite song from the jungle book, and 3 completely rearranged takes from tin cans (seriously, you might not even recognize them). oh, if you are one of those skeptical types who has to try before you buy, you can get a preview of a couple of these tracks over at our myspace. we are quite proud of this lil ep, we hope you enjoy it.

iTunes session, more shows, release in UK and Japan!

WHOA, ITS BEEN A WHILE!!!
we are on tour with the good men and women in ra ra riot. it's been RA RA RADICAL!!! love those kids. and big ups to walter meego, ya know? hence the infrequent blog posts.
cool beans, dudes.
in fact, we have many exciting things happening now and in the future, and forever...
here's what's going down:
- a few weeks back we did a session for the exclusive "iTunes Sessions" or whatever they are called. we are really proud of it, and can't wait for you all to hear it. we did a few old songs, and a couple new ones, but even the old songs sounds completely different. we think you'll be surprised!! here's the tracklisting:

- we have a few more ra ra shows on the east coast, but we also have shows of our own. come check out the puma in-stores where we'll be doing some acoustic sets. these are a lot of fun. we get to play songs we don't usually play live/full band, and generally we take requests... we also have a bunch of FREE shows on the west coast at the end of this month. see all dates at the bottom.
- 'talking through tin cans' is finally getting released in the UK and Japan! yahooooooooo! we are doing a limited release in the UK now exclusively through Rough Trade. if you purchase the album you also get a limited edition 7" of waiting for a war. DO IT!
