THE BIG APPLE AND BACK (TO OTOWN)

as you all know, we've been very busy making a record. in fact, we just got back from NY where we were putting on some finishing touches. we've been so busy actually that we had no time to make a real poster for our show next weekend, and had to steal this one off the internet. pretty silly looking, but hey, it's got han solo on it...

buy tickets for that one on ticketweb if you want to come, they seem to be selling pretty quickly. we play at 9:00 pm. all ages!

we've been busy practicing, a bunch of new songs, and newified old ones. here's a couple videos from our practice space. the first is a clip from the guitar'd out version of 'last today.' the second one is a new song (or about the first 1/3 of a new song) off the new record called 'waiting for a war.' sorry they are so dark, they don't have lights in oakland. well, they have christmas lights. ENJOY!

in other news:

-our first record will be mixed / mastered soon.

-we played a show on tuesday with two awesome bands you should check out if you haven't already, the rosebuds and land of talk. the rosebuds invited us to play that show, and we couldn't have had a better time. everyone was so rad. it was our first time playing the great american in sf - great night all around. thanks to all the local kids for showing up early!

bueno

We played a few shows over the last few weeks. i don't have any photographs but i drew a picture of what they looked like:

now i think i'm going to europe for a month and we're taking a little hiatus but Chris and maybe some others might play some sort of acoustic shows in the meantime that will be real fun and hopefully they will post some more covers too that everyone will like lots. i'll try to post from other countries and tell people about france or spain because i'm sure they're really interesting places and nice too.

xoxoxo
